# How to calculate area of Quadrilaterals

Quadrilaterals are polygon of four sides and vertices. These can be of different shapes. How to calculate area of quadrilaterals of different shapes are explained here with examples. ## How to calculate area of a square where, a is the sides of square.

Solution : Area=4 x 4 = 16 cm2

Solution: Area= (9+7).3/2 = 24 cm2
